Hazarat Abu saeed Khudri rz se riwayat hai unhon ne farmaya ke Hazarat Ali ibn AbiTaalib rz ne Yemen se sone ka ek tukda saaf liye huye chamde men lapta huva Rasoolallah alaihissalam ke khidmat men ravana farmaya. woh abhi mitti se alahida nahin kiya gaya tha Raavi ka bayaan hai ke Rasoolallah alaihissalam ne 4 aadmiyon me taqseem farmadiya. 1.Uyaina bin Badr Al-Fazari, 2.Al-Aqra' bin Habis Al-Hanzali 3.Zaid AI-Khail At-Ta'i 4.Alqama bin 'Ulatha Al-'Amiri bin tufail hai.

yeh haal dekhkar aapke Ashaab men se kisi ne kaha hum unlogon men us sone ke zyada haqdaar thhe. Rasoolallah alaihissalam ko yeh qabar pahunchi to Aap alaihissalam ne farmaya  tum log mujhpe Etimaad nahin karte halaanke us Parwardigaar ko mujh par Aetbaar hai jo Aasmano par hai aur subah va shaam mere paas Aasmani qabar (wahi) Aati rehti hai.

Raavi ka bayaan hai ke us waqt aek aur shaqs khada huva jis ki Aankhen dhansi huvi, ruqsaar phoole huve, peshaani ubhri huvi, ghani dhaadi, sar munda aur unch aazar baandhe huye tha. Kehne laga Ya Rasoolaallah (alaihissalam)! ALLAH SE DARIYE. Aap alaihissalam ne farmaya teri qaraabi ho. Kya tamam rooye jameen ke logon men ALLAH (subhana va taala) se darne kamein jiyada haqdaar nahin hun?

 

Raavi kehta hai ke phir woh shaks chala gaya toh Hazarat Khalid bin waleed rz ne kaha Ya Rasoolallah alaihissalam main uski gardan na udadun? Nahin shayad woh namaaz padhta ho. Hazarat Khalid rz ne arz kiya bahut se namaaziBahut se namaazi aise hote hain ke Muhn se aise baate kehte hain jo unke dil men nahin hoti. Aap alaihissalam ne farmaya Mujhe kisi ke dil tatolne ka aur pet cheer ne ka hukm nahin diya gaya hai.

 

Raavi ka bayaan hai ke phir Aap alaihissalam ne usketaraf (beadab)dekha  jabke woh peeth modkar jaaraha tha aur farmaya us shaqs ki nasal se aise Qaum niklegi ke Kitabullah ki tilaawat se unki jabaan tarhogi halaanke woh kitaab unke halaq ke neeche nahin utregi. woh deen se istarah qaariz hojaayenge ke jaise teer shikaar ke paar nikal jaata hai.Raavi kehta hai mere qayaal ke mutabiq Aap alaihissalam ne yeh bhi farmaya agar WOH QAUM MUJHE MILE TO MAIN UNHE QAUME SAMOOD KI TARAH QATAL KARDOON. Ameer al-Mumine​en Sayyiduna Ali al-Murtuda Radi Allahu Taala Anhu

HIS POSITION IN THE SILSILA: Ameer al-Momineen, Asadullahil Ghalib, Haidar-e-Karaar Hadrat Sayyiduna Ali al-Murtuda Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu are the second Imam of the Silsila Aaliyah Qaadiriyah Gaffaria

BLESSED NAME: His name is Ali and is known as Abu al-Hassan and Abu Turab and his titles are Murtuda, Asadullah and Haidar-e-Karraar.

HIS FATHER: His father was Abu Taalib and Grandfather were Abdul Mutallib. Abu Taalib is the uncle of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam.

HIS MOTHER: His mother's name was Faatima bint Asad, bin Haashim, bin Abd Munaaf. Her Janazah was performed by Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, and he gave his blessed Qamees (Kurta) to be used as her kaffan (shroud). He prepared her grave and first he himself laid down in her grave, so that it will be comfortable for her in the grave, and so that she may be adorned in the Garb of Jannat. [Noor al-Absaar]
HIS BIRTH: Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was born on a Friday. Some narrations quote the date as the 13th of Muharram and others state the 13th of Rajab. His birth occurred 30 years after the incident of Feel. He was born inside the Holy Kaa'ba, and none has been blessed with this excellence before him. [Noor al-Absaar]

His mother said, “When he was born, he did not drink milk for three days, and this, caused great sadness in my home. This message reached Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam arrived and took Sayyiduna Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu in his blessed arms and showed great love to him. He then placed his tongue in the mouth of Sayyiduna Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and Hadrat Ali suckled on the tongue of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam and thereafter started to drink milk.”

When Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was five years old, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam kept him at his blessed home and took care of him. He was thus groomed in the home of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam until he was ten years old.

HE ACCEPTS ISLAM: Almighty Allah commanded the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam to propagate Islam amongst his family first and to correct their habits and behaviour. This, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam did and he first invited to Islam, Bibi Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. He also invited Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu who happily accepted Islam. He was the first amongst the youth (children) to accept Islam. [Ikmaal fi Asmaa ar-Rijaal]

Hadrat Ibn Abbas Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu reports that once Hadrat Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu were very ill. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, Hadrat Abu Bakr and Hadrat Umar (radi Allahu anhum) came to visit the children. On leaving the Sahaba-e-Kiraam requested that Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu take some Nazr (vow) on behalf of the children. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and their female servant all took the vow to keep three fasts each, so that Almighty Allah may bless both the children with shifa. All three of them kept the first fast, but there was nothing in the house for Iftaar. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu then bought three portions of flour on credit from a jew called Sham'oon. He gave one portion to Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, who made five breads with the flour. As the time of Iftaar arrived, and they were about to eat, a beggar came to their door and said, “Salaam upon you O Ahle Bait of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. I am a poor Muslim from amongst the poor Muslims. Please feed me with something and Allah shall feed you from the bounties of Jannat.” When they heard this, all of them gave their bread to him, and they slept just by drinking water. The next day, they sat for Iftaar when they heard someone say, “I am an Orphan. Please assist me.” Again, all of them gave their share of food to him. This happened on the third day again, when a captive asked for food, they gave all their food to him. When morning came, Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu took Imam Hassan and Hussain (Radi Allahu Anhum) to visit the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. When he saw how weak the children were, he went to Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and saw that she too had become weak. This caused much sadness to the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. It was then, that Hadrat Jibraeel Alaihis Salam descended with this verse of the Quran, “And they feed the poor, orphan and captive in His love.” [Masaalik as-Saalikeen, Vol 1, Page 145]

 


This verse of the Holy Quran was also revealed in praise of Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, “Those who spend their wealth in charity during the night and the day, (both) discreetly and openly. For them, they have a generous reward by their Lord. They have no fear nor do they have any grief.”

Hadrat ibn Abbas Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu states that Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu had only four dirhams with him. He distributed one dirham as charity at night and one dirham in the day. He then gave one dirham discreetly and one dirham openly. It was on this, that the above mentioned verse of the Quran was revealed. [Masaalik as-Saalikeen, Vol 1 Page 147]

Hadrat Dharr bin Hubaish Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu reports that Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu said, “I swear in His Name who caused a tree to explode from a seedling and who created life, that the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said to me, ‘O Ali! Only he shall have true love for you, who is a Momin and he who has enmity against you is a hypocrite.’” [Sahih al-Muslim]Hadrat Imraan bin Haseen Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu reports that the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said, “Ali is mine and I am his, and he is the beloved of all the believers.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi]

Hadrat Sahl ibn Saad Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu says, “On the day of Khaibar, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said, ‘Tomorrow I shall give this flag in the hand of that person, through whom Almighty Allah shall grant us victory. That person loves Allah and His Rasool SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, and Allah and His Rasool SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam love him.’ When morning came, all the companions of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam came into the court of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam hoping that they would be the one who shall be chosen in whose hand the flag shall be given, but the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam asked, ‘Where is Ali bin Abi Taalib Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu?’ It was said that his eyes were sore through an infection. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said, ‘Call him’ He was thus called and the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam put his blessed saliva into his eyes and they became well, as if they were never sore. He SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam then gave the flag in his hand.” [Sahih Bukhari - Sahih Muslim]

INCIDENTS RELATING TO HIS SHAHAADAT: The shahaadat of Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was a very painful event in the history of Islam. Three Kharijies, Abdur Rahmaan bin Muljim, Bark bin Abdullah Tameemi and Amr bin Bukair Tameemi, planned to martyr Hadrat Ali, Hadrat Ameer Muawiyah and Hadrat Amr ibn al-A’as (Ridwaanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajmaeen) on the same day. These traitors planned to attack these Sahaba Kiraam Ridwaanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajmaeen) on the 17th of Ramadaan 40 Hijri. Bark went to Syria and attacked Hadrat Ameer Muawiyah Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu who was only injured and was not martyred. Bark was captured. His hands and feet were cut off, and he was set free. Amr bin Bakeer went to Egypt to martyr Hadrat Amr ibn al-'Aas Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. On that day, Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was ill and he appointed Sahl Aamiri or Khaarija to perform the Namaaz. Thinking that he was Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, Ibn Bukair attacked and killed him. He was captured and taken to Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and was killed. Early that morning Hadrat Ali awoke and told Hadrat Imam Hussain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu that he had seen the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam in his dream. He said, “I told the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam that I had attained no comfort from his Ummah. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said that I should curse the tyrants, and I made this dua, ‘O Allah! Take me away from these people and put me amongst better people and put such a person in my place who will be very bad for them.”

Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was still talking to Hadrat Imam Hasan Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu when the Muazzin announced the time for Salaah. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu walked towards the Masjid for Salaah and as he entered the Masjid, Ibn Muljim the cursed came from behind a pillar and struck Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu on his blessed face, with a sword that was dipped in poison. The people in the Masjid arrested him and brought him before Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. He said, “Imprison him, but make a soft bed for him and give him good food. If I survive, then I have the right to forgive him or avenge what he has done and if I pass away, then kill him also.”

Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu passed away on the 21st of Ramadan from the severe injury caused by the attack on him. He passed away at the age of 63.
HIS FINAL ADVICE: Before his wisaal, he called Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain (Radi Allahu Anhum) and said, “I advice you to remain pious and do not wish for the world even if it wishes for you. And if you lose any worldly belonging, then do not cry over it. Have mercy on the orphans, and help the weak.” He then turned to one of his sons, Hadrat Muhammad bin Hanafiyah Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and gave him the same advice. He then read the Kalima and his soul travelled from this mundane world in to the heights of the hereafter. Inna Lillaahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raaji'oon!!

Month of Prophet Muhammad alaihissalam

Sha’abaan – month of forgiveness of sins:

It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) among the great months of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is the month of Rajab and that is the month of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). The one who respects and reveres Rajab verily reveres the commands of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) and Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will enter the person into Jannah who reveres His command and will grant him His pleasure.
Sha’abaan is My month. Whoever reveres Sha’abaan verily reveres My command and whoever respects My command, on the day of the Qiyamah, I will be the his helper and a source of good for him.
Ramadhan is the month of My Ummah. Whoever respects Ramadhan and maintains its sanctity and does not violate it and fasts in its days and stands up in worship in its nights and saves his organs, that person will come out of Ramadhan in such a state that there will no sin on him for which Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will call him to account.

Hadith related from the Companion Abdullah b.'Amr (May Allaah be pleased with him) which says that the Prophet(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: "Allah looks at His creation during the night of the

15th of Sha'ban and He forgives His servants except two- one intent on hatred (mushanin) and a murderer (qatilu nafs). ( Ref : Musnad Ahmad 2/176 #6642. Al-Bazzar also related this Hadith and he classified it as 'hasan'. )

 

Imam Suyuti (Rh)says in his Haqiqat al-sunna wa al-bid`a:“As for the night of mid-Sha`ban, it has great merit and it is desirable (mustahabb) to spend part of it in supererogatory worship.” ( Ref: Suyuti, Haqiqat al-sunna wa al-bid`a aw al-amr bi al-ittiba` wa al-nahi `an al-ibtida` (1405/1985 ed.) p. 58. He adds: "However, this must be done alone, not in congregation.")

 

Five letters of the word Sha’abaan and what they mean

The leader of all saints, Hadhrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (May Allah sanctify his soul) says
about the secret meanings hidden in the word “Sha’abaan”:
There are five letters in the word “Sha’abaan” (i.e. in the Arabic word):
The Arabic “Sheen,” which stands “Sharaf” i.e. honor.
“’Ain,” which stands for “’Ulu” i.e. elevation.
“Ba” which stands for “birr” i.e. virtuousness.
“Alif” which stands for “Ulfat” i.e. love
“Noon” which stands for “Noor” i.e. radiance, light.

These letters indicate that in the month of Sha’abaan, the worshippers of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) are granted these bounties by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).

 

Hadhrat Ghouse Azam Dastagir (May Allah be well pleased with him) points out the temporary nature of this world and the changing of times and says about the importance of the month of Sha’abaan in these words:

Life has 3 states:

The past state, the present state and the future state.

 In the same way, there are 3 months: Rajab, which has passed and will not return and

Ramadhan, which we are waiting for. We do not know whether we will be alive to get it

or not and Sha’abaan is the link between these 2 months.

We should consider obedience to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as a respipte (Ghaneemat)

Sha’abaan is the month of Durud:

The verse of Durud was revealed in this month and the command for Durud was given to us, so for this reason we are asked to send a lot of Durud on the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in this month. As given in Ghuniya Lit talibi  tariqil haqqi, Vol. 1, Pg No:188:

 

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would fast for the whole of Sha’abaan. When I asked Him, He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) writes (the names of) all those who would die in this year in this night. I desire that My time of passing away should be when I am fasting. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: This is that month between Rajab and Ramadhan, which people do not think about and this is the month in which deeds (a’amaal) are presented before Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), so I want that I should be fasting and My deeds should be presented before Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).(Sunan Nasai, Vol. 1, Pg No: 321. Hadith No: 2317, Musnad Imam Ahmed, Musnad UlAnsaar, Hadith No: 20758)

Hadees e Noor : Haqiqat al Muhammadiyyah

 

Assalamualikum

Meelad al Nabi (alaihissalam mubarak)

 

 

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has stated in the Hadith, “Awwalu ma Khalaq Allahu Noori,” i.e. the first thing Allah created was my Noor. [Madaarijun Nubuwwah, Vol 2]

It is stated in the Holy Qur’an, “No one is associated to Him, so I have been commanded and I am the first Muslim.” [Surah 6, Verse 163] The Sahaabah asked Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to explain the phrase “I am the first Muslim” in this verse, as Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam) and the other Prophets up to Hazrat Isa (Alaihis Salaam) were born on earth before him, and all these Prophets were Muslims i.e. they surrendered to the will of Allah, so how could Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) be the first Muslim? It was then that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) explained that Allah Ta’ala had created him as Noor-e-Muhammadi out of Himself many thousands of astronomical years before Allah Ta’ala decided to create the universe. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has also stated, “I am the first Prophet to be created and the last one to be sent.”

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) has narrated: “The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) once asked Hazrat Jibraeel (Alaihis Salaam): “How old are you?” Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam) replied, “I don’t have much recollection about the exact age. However, I do remember seeing a star in the fourth Hijab (veil) of Honour. That star would appear once every seventy thousand years, and I have seen the star seventy two thousand times.” Upon hearing this, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “I swear by the Honour of my Allah Jalla Jalaaluhu that star was me.” [Tarikh-ul-Kabir; Tafseer Roohul Bayan]

Allah Ta’ala could very well have created the universe by ordering “Be!” [Surah 3, Verse 59], but to honour His beloved Noor-e-Muhammadi, He decided to create the entire universe through this medium and bless everything thus created for the sake of His beloved. In a Hadith-e-Qudsi Allah Ta’ala has stated, “If I had not created you (O Muhammad), I would not have created anything.” Accordingly, Allah Ta’ala started devising out of Noor-e-Muhammadi each and every one of the angels, the countless galaxies throughout the universe and all that is therein. Thus He honoured His beloved. Nothing that was created by Allah Ta’ala was out of anything else.

When he (Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) did not exist then nothing existed

If he was not created then nothing would have been created

He is the life of the world

He is alive therefore the world exists

 

 

Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) reports: I asked, “Ya Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) may my father and mother be sacrificed upon thee! Tell me, what was that which the Almighty Allah created before anything else?” The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied:

 

“O Jabir, verily Allah first created my Noor (Light) from His Noor before He created anything else. This Noor stayed in obedience according to the Will of Allah. At that time, there was neither the Lawh (Divine Tablet) nor the Qalam (Pen), neither heaven nor hell, and neither any angel, earth, skies, sun, moon, jinn or human beings. When Allah wished to create something, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Qalam (Pen), from the second, the Lawh (Divine Tablet) and from the third, He made the Arsh (Throne).

 

He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From the first He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second the Kursi (Divine Chair), and from the third, He created the rest of the Angels.

 

He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From the first He created the skies, from the second He created the planets and from the third He created heaven and hell.

 

Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From the first part He created the Noor with which the believer (Mu’min) sees. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Ma’rifat (spiritual realisation). From the third, He created a Noor in the tongues of the Believers to recite the Kalima-e-Shahaadat, Laa Ilaaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. (And from the fourth part everything else was created).” [Dalaa'il-un-Nubuwwah; Muwaahibul Laduniya; Ibne Majah]

 

 

 

Since all created beings and objects have come out of the same single source, it is but natural that all creation can reach their goal only through this source i.e. Noor-e-Muhammadi. Therefore Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), who is the most sublime and exalted of all that has been created, is the medium through which every person would reach his Creator.

 

Imam Fakhruddin Raazi (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) writes in Tafseer-e-Kabeer that when Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam) was created, the angels were ordered to prostrate to him for the reason that the Noor-e-Muhammadi was in Hazrat Adam’s (Alaihis Salaam) forehead. Iblees could not see the light and boasted why he should prostrate to a human. As a result of this he became shaitaan, the accursed. The angels saw the light and they all prostrated.

 

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is supreme with regard to dignity and rank amongst all creation. He is the Noor which guides the entire creation to Almighty Allah. It is clearly evident how unique the position of our Beloved Aaqa Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), the Mahboob of the Almighty Creator is, in whose honour the entire universe has been created. His reality is thus known only to his Creator, Almighty Allah.

LAYLATUL BARAA'AH (NIGHT OF SALVATION) SHAB-E-BARAAT

Bismillah hirrahman nirraheem

Nahmadahu va nusalli ala rasoolahil kareem

Assalamualikum va rahmatullahi va barakatahu

Most beloved fasts of the Prophet (pbuh) is fasting in the month of Shaban

Narrated Hazrat Aishah(ra);

I asked himself Prophet (pbuh):

“You fast most on the month of Shaban.”

He commanded:

O Aishah! This month is such a month that the names of all people who are going to die in the coming year are given to Azrail (The Angel of Death). I wish, if my name given, I must be in a state of fasting. (Bukhari)

In another narration Hazrat Aishah(ra):

“Shaban was the most beloved month to Allah’s Prophet to fast in it. And he used to fast and connected it with Ramadan.”

(Nasai, Ahmad Bin Hanbal, Bayhaqi, Abu Dawud)

LAYLATUL BARAA'AH - NIGHT OF SALVATION 

The 15th night of Shabaan is a very blessed night. According to the Hadith Shareef, the name of this Mubarak night is "Nisf Shabaan"which means 15th night of Shabaan. The reason for this special night to attain its name of Laylatul Baraa'ah, meaning the Night of Salvation, Seeking Freedom from Azaab and Calamity, is that in this night the Barkaat and acceptance of repentance may be accomplished. Laylatul Baraa'ah in Persian, as well as in Urdu, is called Shabbe Baraat.

Deeds are lifted up to the Lord of the Worlds

Usama (ra) said:

“O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any other month like you fast in Shaban.”

Prophet (pbuh):

“That is a month of which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. In this month deeds are and lifted up and presented to the Lord of the Worlds. I wish my deeds to be lifted up when I am fasting.” (Nasai, Ahmad Bin Hanbal)

Allah (swt) will forgive past sins of him who fasts on Shaban

“When the night of the middle of Shabaan (the night of Baraat) comes, spend the night in pray and spend the day fasting, Allah descends to the lowest Heaven and says, “Is there anyone begging for forgiveness that I might forgive him? Is there anyone begging for sustenance that I may feed him? Is there any such and such?” This goes on until the break of dawn” (Ibn Majah)

HOW TO WELCOME THIS NIGHT 
On this auspicious night, you should perform fresh Ghusal and Wudhu and perform the two Rakaat of Tahhiyatul Wudhu. In every Rakaat, after the Suratul Fatiha, you should read Ayatul Kursi once and Surah Ahad three times. Also perform eight Rakaats of Salaah with four Salaams. In each Rakaat after the Surah Fatiha, you should read the Ayatul Kursi (once) and Surah Ahad fifty times. 

WHAT TO RECITE IMMEDIATELY AFTER SUNSET 
After sunset, you should recite "La Hawla walaa Quwwata illa Billahil-aliyil Azeem" forty times with three times Durood Shareef before and after. It is mentioned that by reciting this, Almighty Allah will forgive forty years of your sins and forty Hoors will await to serve you in Jannatul Firdous. 

COUNTLESS MERCIES 
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has stated: "Verily! Almighty Allah directs His Special Grace on the world on this Night. He forgives my Ummah more than the number of wool that is found on the sheep of the Bani Kalb". We should remember that in those days the Bani Kalb possessed the most number of sheep that any other tribe. 

How great is the Mercy of Almighty Allah on this night that He forgives millions of Muslims. We also realise from this that these numbers can only pertain to the Ahle Sunnah Wa Jamaah collectively, for the righteous followers of the Hanafi, Shaafi'i, Maaliki and Hambali indeed number millions of Muslims. 

THE VISITORS OF THIS NIGHT 
It is narrated that the departed souls (Arwaah) of the Muslims visit the houses of their friends and relatives on this night and proclaim: "O people of the house! You stay in our houses and enjoy the wealth that we have left behind. You use our children and take work from them, please perform our Esaale Sawaab. Verily our deeds have become complete, while your record of deeds is still spread". 

If the people of the house perform the Esaale Sawaab and Khatam Shareef on this night, then the Arwaah depart will the Sawaab extremely happy and overjoyed all the time making Du'a for the people. 

VISIT TO THE CEMETERY 
Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa (radi Allahu anha) reports: "One night, which was the 15th of Shabaan, I did not find the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) in the house so I went in search of him. After a long search, I found him in Baqiah (the cemetery of Madinah) offering Du'a for the deceased and praying for their forgiveness". (Baihaqi) 

A special point must be made to visit the cemetery during this night and pray for the deceased buried therein, as the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is been reported as having visited the cemetery on this night and spending a long time therein, lamenting, reading and praying for the deceased. 

TO KEEP FAST 
According to the Hadith Shareef which is narrated by Ibne Habaan (radi Allahu anhu) that Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "When the night of 15th Shabaan arrives spend the night awake and keep fast the next day". 

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said often in his Khutba (sermon): "O people! Lighten and cleanse your bodies by way of fasting during Shabaan, so that it shall be easy and helpful to you for the fast during Ramadaan. Whoso fasts for three days during Shabaan, all his past sins are wiped off". (Baihaqi) Fasting is also recommended on the 13th, 14th and 15th of Shabaan. 

HOW TO SPEND THE NIGHT 
On this night, perform Nawaafil, recite the Quran Shareef, recite abundant Durood Shareef, Istighfaar and Kalima Tayyibah. It is also mentioned that if one reads Surah Dukhaan seven times on this night, Almighty Allah will reward you with 70 worldly needs and 70 deeds for the Hereafter.

Mahe Ramadan mubarak: secrets of Fasting

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ "O who believe, fasting is decreed for you as it was decreed for those before you; perchance you will guard yourselves. (2:183)

On the Secrets of Fasting

Fasting is abstention and elevation  

May Allah support you! Know that fasting (sawm) is both abstention and elevation. One says "the day has reached its full height (sama)" when it has reached its highest point. (The poet) Imru'l-Qays said:

When the day reached its height (sama) and its heat was intense,

i.e. the day reached its fullest extent. It is because the fast has a higher degree than all other acts of worship that it is called "fast" (sawm). Allah elevated it by denying that it is like any other act of worship as we will discuss. He denied its ownership to His servants although they worship Him by it and ascribed the fast to Himself. Part of its affirmation is that He rewards the one who is described by it by His hand even though He connected it to Himself when He stated that it is not like anything else. 

Fasting in reality is non-action, not action

(In reality, fasting is non-action, not action. The negation of likeness is a negative attribute. Therefore the relationship between it and Allah is strengthened. Allah Almighty says about Himself, "There is nothing like Him." (42:11) He denied that there is anything like Him and so there is nothing like Him by logical proofs and by the Shari'a. An-Nasa'i related that Abu Umama said, "I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, 'Give me something that I can take from you.' He said, 'You must fast. There is nothing like it.'" He denied that it was like any of the acts of worship which are prescribed for the servants of Allah.

Anyone who recognises that it is a negative attribute – since it consists of abandoning things which break it – knows absolutely that there is nothing like it since it has no source which is described by understood existence. This is why Allah said, "The fast is Mine." In reality, it is neither worship or action. It is permissible to apply the name 'action' to it, as the application of the expression 'existent''can be applied to Allah. We understand that it is allowed although the ascription of existence to He whose existence is the same as His Essence is not like the ascription of existence to us. "There is nothing like Him." (42:11)

Every action of the son of Adam is His except fasting. It belongs to Allah. 

Quotation of a Divine Prophetic hadith:

Muslim transmitted in the Sahih that Abu Hurayra reported from the Messenger of Allah that Allah said, "Every action of the son of Adam belongs to him except the fast. It is Mine, and I repay him for it. Fasting is a protection. When one of you has a day of fasting, he should then speak neither obscenely nor too loudly; and if someone seeks to curse him or fight with him, let him say, 'I am fasting.' By Him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell of the mouth of the one who fasts is more delectable to Allah than the scent of musk. The one who fasts has two joys in which to delight: when he breaks his fast, he rejoices; and when he meets his Lord, he rejoices in his fast." (Muslim: 13:163) 

The delight of the faster lies in his attachment to the degree of the negation of likeness

Know that since the Prophet denied that there is anything like the fast, as is established in the hadith of an-Nasa'i, and "Allah has nothing like Him," the faster meets his Lord described as "having nothing like him". He sees Him by it, and He is the Seer-Seen. This is why the Prophet said, "he rejoices in his fast" and not "He rejoices in meeting his Lord." Joy does not rejoice in itself; he is made to rejoice by it. Whoever has Allah as his sight when he sees and contemplates Him, only sees himself by seeing Him.

The faster rejoices at having the rank of negation of likeness. He rejoices in breaking the fast in this world since that gives the animal self its due since intrinsically seeks food. When the gnostic sees that his animal self needs food and sees that it exists by the nourishment which he gives it, then he fulfils its due which Allah has made obligatory for him and put in the position of being described as a right. He gives by the hand of Allah as He sees Allah in the encounter by the eye of Allah. This is why he rejoices at breaking the fast as he rejoices in his fast when he meets his Lord. 

Fasting is a samadiyya attribute and the Real repays it

Clarification of what this tradition contains:

The slave is described as having a fast and being entitled to the name 'faster' by this attribute. After affirming his fast, then Allah strips it from him and ascribes it to Himself. He said, "Fasting is Mine," meaning the attribute of timeless self-reliance (samadiyya). It is disconnection from food. "It is only Mine, even if I have described you with it. I described you with a certain limited qualification of disconnection, not by the disconnection (tanzih) which My majesty deserves. I said, 'I repay him for it.'" Allah repays the fast of the faster when it is transferred to his Lord and he meets Him with an attribute unlike any other: which is the fast, since "the One who has nothing like Him" is only seen by the one who has nothing like him. This is like the text from Abu Talib al-Makki, one of the masters of the people of tasting. "Whoever finds in his journey, that is his repayment." It is what is obliged by this I in this state. 

The difference between negation of likeness from Allah and from fasting

Then He said, "Fasting is a protection," and it is a safeguard as He said, "Fear Allah," (2:194) i.e. take Him as a safeguard and also be a safeguard for Him.Ó He put the fast in His position in acting as a safeguard. "There is nothing like Him," and fasting has no like among the acts of worship. One does not say that there is nothing like the fast. The thing is a matter of permanence or existence. Fasting is non-action. It is a non-existent intelligible and negative attribute. It has no like. It is not that there is nothing like it. This is the difference between the attribute of Allah in the negation of likeness and the way that the fast is described by it. 

The faster being forbidden obscenity, shouting and strife

Then the Lawgiver placed prohibitions on the faster. The prohibition is non-action and a negative attribute. He said, "he should then speak neither obscenely nor shout." He did not command him to an action, but forbade that he be described by certain actions. Fasting is non-action, so the relationship between fasting and what he forbade the faster is valid. Then he commanded that he say to the one who curses him or fights with him, "I am fasting," i.e. I am leaving this action which you are doing, fighter or curser, to me. By the command of his Lord, he disconnects himself from this action. He reports that he is not acting, i.e. he does not have the attribute of cursing or fighting for the one who curses and fights him. 

The smell of the mouth of the faster with Allah

Then he swore, "By the One who holds the soul of MUhammad in His hand, the changed breath of the faster..." This is the changed smell of the mouth of the faster which only exists by respiration. He respires these good words by which he is commanded. These words are: "I am fasting." These words and every breath of the faster is "more delectable on the Day of Rising," the day when people are resurrected for the Lord of the worlds, "with Allah." He used the name which joins all of their names and he used the name which has no like since only Allah is named by this name. It is in harmony with fasting which has no like.

He said, "more delectable than the scent of musk." The scent of musk is an existential matter which is perceived by smell. The person who has a balanced constitution enjoys it. The scent of changed breath is considered more fragrant with Allah than that, because the ascription of the perception of scents to Allah does not resemble the perception of scents to the smeller. We find it unpleasant, while with Him this breath is more sublime than the scent of musk. It is a described ruh which has no like as He described it. This scent is not like that scent. The scent of the faster comes from respiration. The scent of musk does not come from the respiration of musk. 

The Gate of Quenching by which fasters enter the Garden            By way of the meaning, the Shari'a has described fasting with the perfection above which there is no perfection. This is because Allah gave it a special door with a special name which demands perfection. It is called the Door of the Quenched. The fasters enter it. Quenching is a degree of perfection in drinking. After being quenched, the drinker does not accept any more to drink to all. Whenever he accepts, then he was not quenched, whether it is a land or not a land among the lands of the animals.

Muslim related from the hadith of Sahl ibn Sa'd that the Messenger of Allah said, "There is a door in the Garden called the Quenching. The fasters will enter it on the Day of Rising. None except them will enter it. It will be said, 'Where are the fasters?' and they will enter it. When the last of them has gone in it, it will be locked and no one else will enter it." That is not said about any of the commanded or forbidden acts of worship except for the fast. By "the Quenching," He made it clear that they obtain the attribute of perfection in action since they are described by that which has no like as we already said. In reality, the one who has no like is the perfect. The fasters among the gnostics enter it here, and there they will enter it with the knowledge of all creatures.

It gives a great pleasure in informing that a shopping complex is opened towards the northern east end of  Darga-e-Gaffaria with the holy blessings of Hazarat Syedi Murshidi Zahiruddin sha kha dri (hifzullahi taala).
The programme was held at around 4:30 pm , thursday, feb 10, 2011.

Minister for Agriculture Sri Y.S.Vivekananda reddy and M.L.A sri Veera siva reddy visited the sufi saint and took the blessings.
