Haq Zaheer Ya Zaheer
Assalamu `alaykum wa-rahmatullahi wa barakatahu
Sufi Saint Shaiq al Mashaiq
Sayyedi va Murshidi Haji Zahiruddin sha kha dri (Rizwanullahi alaihirrahma). He was born in Kamalapuram, an Indian town in Deccan On Thursday the 14th of
Ramadan shareef accordingly 1st January 1946. He breathed his last
at the age of Sixty eight years on 11th
Dhul-Hijja 1434 hijri, accordingly 17th October 2013 Thursday.
Inna li-llahi wa-inna ilayhi raji`un
The
shaykh’s family is one of the most
respected families in Deccan, where in were shaykh’s of Qadiri sufi order.
He
grew up in Kamalapuram and read the holy Qur’an and other Islamic sciences with
his father Shaykh Khader Mouhiuddin ridwanullahi alaihirrahma at a very young
age..
It is without doubt that Shaykh was
Tourchbearer for the Qadiria sufi order.
His qualities were many, his skills outstanding.
Not only was he the leader of the Qadiria Tariqa in his time but also a guiding
force for the people for all walks of life.
His
true fame came with his immense and intense love for our Master Mohammad
alaihissalam. The follower of the ecstatic school of Sufism, he is famous for
the boldness of his expression of the mystic’s complete absorption into the
Godhead.Such incredible love is
not seen in our times.
He achieved immortality
by dint of his strength and nobility of character, modesty, humbleness, pursuit
of truth, self-discipline, renunciation, sacrifice, service, faith, hope and
belief.
After great trials, tribulations, privations, hardships
and rigours he obtained fame, following respect, prestige and above all, the
crown of immortality.
Throughout
his life he exhibited very many supernatural powers. He had to exhibit those
powers in order to fulfil his mission in life, which was the propagation of
Truth. Society was at its lowest ebb spiritually and he assigned to himself the
task of reconstruction, renovation, regeneration and reorientation of society
in order to re-establish a new social order based on love, righteousness, truth
and justice
Shaykh was
an outstanding sufi saint of eminence and repute. His preachings and discourses
swayed the masses and the classes. There can be no doubt that the world can
still learn much from his writing, teachings, sayings and preachings. His
message is a sacred trust. His life is a shining example of victory of truth
and righteousness over the forces of darkness and deception.
He was a
man of forbearance, never becoming angry except for the sake of Allah.
He was
generous, and never refused a beggar. Many a
time we saw people come to him,
Whom he
would feed and give to generously, especially during religious festivals, when
people would come to his house. You would see great throngs of people coming
and eating the food That was prepared there, and the smile would not leave his face.
His
characteristics, may Allah be pleased with him, included his bigheartedness,
and his
concern to
give people guidance in times of trial, and immense patience, and a cheery
countenance;
Just by looking at his radiant face sinners repented by his hand, and by the grace
of keeping his company became believers, and knowers of Allah!
Shaykh
(may Allah have mercy on him) was a man of fine character and behaviour, which
Encouraged
people to come to him, and gain knowledge from him of true Sufism, until it was
Said that Shaykh did not become famous
by virtue of his knowledge, though he was
knowledgeable;
nor did he become famous by virtue of the miracles he was vouchsafed,
though
they were many; rather, he became famous because of his character and his
humility and his knowledge of Allah.
If you
attended one of his gatherings, you would feel as though you were in one of the
Meadows of
Paradise;
He
breathed his last at the age of Sixty eight
years on 11th Dhul-Hijja 1434 hijri, accordingly 17th
October 2013 Thursday. He was buried in premises of Aashiana-e-Zahiria as per
his instructions on Friday 18th October 2013.
People of all walks of life irrespective of caste, creed, and relegion flocked to his resting place to pay homage to their dear saint.Thousands of People across attended his salat al Janaza which was lead by his Eldest son Mohammad Faizul Gaffar sha kha dri.
O Allah, bless this great
Sufi Saint and grant him jannat al-firdaws, And pardon our errors and mistakes
for the sake of our beloved Shaykh zahuruddin sha kha dri (noorullahi marqada),
Our love for those righteous servants who love him most.
Aameen
bihurmati Sayyedil Mursaleen.
