<tr><td align="left" style="font-size: 11px;"></td></tr>
<tr><td style="font-size: 11px;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyiduna Rasoolullah's (SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam) marriage with Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha took place about fifteen years before the beginning of the Revelation, he being 25, and she was 40 years old. She was a rich widow and ran a large trade of her own. It was she who offered herself in marriage to the Holy Prophet Muhammad SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam who was associated with her in her trading ventures. From the time of her marriage with the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam till her death, over a period of twenty years, she gave her husband ease of circumstances, and deep love and devotion.<br /> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">In spite of conspicuous difference in age, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah's SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam love for Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha never wavered. When death parted her from the Beloved Nabi SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam after having shared with him for 28 years the toils and trials of life, especially the first ten years of his Ministry of Prophethood, he deeply mourned her death. Once Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha asked him if she had been the only woman worthy of his love. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam replied in an honest burst of tender emotion:<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"She believed in me when none else did. She embraced Islam when people disbelieved me. And she helped and comforted me when there was none else to lend me a helping hand."</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">In the heart of the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam grateful and affectionate remembrance of her remained fresh until the very end of his life. The Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam remained true and loyal to Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha until he was over 50 years old. This had been the case at a time when polygamy was normal among the Arabs. Moreover, since no male offspring of Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha survived, he had all the necessary justification to marry another woman considering that newborn daughters were customarily buried alive and male offspring alone regarded as rightful heirs.<br /> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Before Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam announced his Prophethood he had lived 17 years of married life, and thereafter eleven more years without ever thinking of marriage with another woman. He was kind to all her fellows and occasionally sent them gifts.<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"Never was I jealous of any of the Prophet's wives", said Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha, "but Khadija, although I never saw her. Her sweet memory never blurred in the Prophet's SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam heart. Once I hurt his feelings on this issue and he replied gravely, 'Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala has blessed me with her love.'"</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyiduna Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha bore the Beloved Habeeb SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam seven children, the first born was named Sayyiduna Qaasim Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho, after whom, according to Arab custom, the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam received the Kunya "Abul Qaasim" or "the father of Qaasim". Then were born Sayyiduna Tayyab Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha and Sayyiduna Taahir Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhum Ajmaa'een. All of them passed away in their infancy. Amongst the daughters Sayyidah Ruqayya Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha was the eldest, then came Sayyidah Zaynab Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha, Sayyidah Umm Kulthoom Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha and the last and best known of them was Sayyidah Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha.<br /> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha reported that he heard Sayyiduna Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho saying in Kufa that Allah's Messenger SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said:<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"The best of the women of her time was Mariam Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha, daughter of Imran, and the best of the women of her time was Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha, daughter of Khuwailid. Abu Kuraib said that Waki' pointed towards the sky and the earth. What this implies is that Mariam Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha and Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha were best in their respective times not only amongst the creatures of the earth, but of the heaven too."</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha reported that Sayyiduna Jibra'eel Alaihis Salam came to Allah's Messenger SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam and said:<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"Allah's Messenger! Khadija is coming to you with a vessel of seasoned food or drink. When she comes to you, offer her greetings from her Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, and on my behalf and give her glad tidings of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there is no noise and no toil".</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<br /><span style="font-size: x-small;">This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha through another chain of transmitters with a slight variation of wordings.<br /> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha reported that Allah's Apostle SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam gave glad tidings to Sayyidah Khadija bint Khuwailid Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha of a palace in Paradise. Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha further reported:<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"Never did I feel jealous of any woman, as I was jealous of Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha. She had died three years before the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam married me. I often heard him praise her, and his Lord, the Exalted and Gracious, had commanded him to give her the glad tidings of a palace of jewels in Paradise, and whenever he slaughtered a sheep he presented its meat to her female companions".</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<br /><span style="font-size: x-small;">In another Hadith, Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha added:<br /><br /> </span><br />
<blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="padding-left: 1ex;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000099;">"I annoyed him one day and said, 'It is Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha only who always prevails upon your mind'. Thereupon, Allah's Messenger SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said, 'Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala Himself had nurtured Her love in my heart.'"</span><br /> </span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Sayyidah Ayesha Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha reported that Allah's Messenger SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam did not marry any other woman till Sayyidah Khadija's Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha death. The point is why did Allah's Messenger SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam not marry during the lifetime of Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha but, after her sad demise, he married several wives. The fact is that the Holy Prophet of Islam SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam married all his wives from the point of view of religious necessity.<br /><br />At the age of twenty-five, he married Sayyidah Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha who was forty and she remained with him for the quarter of a century as a great source of strength and consolation to him. During this period the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam was busy in instilling in the minds of the people the fundamentals of faith, Oneness of Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala, Apostlehood of Muhammad SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, life after death. He did not feel the necessity of marrying another lady because it was only in the matter of faith and belief that he had to strive hard with mankind.<br /> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">After his migration to Madinatul Munawwara when the Islamic society was established and the Muslims were required to conform their personal and social behaviour to the teaching of Islam, revelations for practical guidance in all walks of life came from Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala. This had to be explained in various places and in different spheres by the life examples of the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. There was not one problem but numerous problems and most of them were social which needed solutions at every step. Thus, it was felt that a group of women should be trained in Islamic ideals and it was done through the wives of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. It was not an ordinary work, but an important task of vast magnitude, which required the sweat, and labour of so many pious souls and these were the noble wives of the Holy Prophet of Islam SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam.<br /> </span><br />

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Hazrat
Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) was the youngest daughter of Rasoolullah
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and she was his most beloved daughter. Allama Ibn
Jauzi (Rahmatullah Alaih) states that she was born 5 years before the
announcement of Prophethood. [<i>Zarqaani</i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Bukhari
and Muslim Shareef narrate a Hadith in which Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam) said, “Fatimah is a flesh from within me. Whosoever infuriates her
has infuriated me. Whatever displeases her displeases me and whatever hurts
her, hurts me.” [<i>Mishkaatul Masaabeeh</i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Rasoolullah
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Fatimah is the leader of the women of
Jannah.” [<i>Bukhari Shareef<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>].
Allamah Nabhaani (Rahmatullah Alaih) states that many scholars state that
Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) is the most virtuous woman in the
universe and even more virtuous than Hazrat Mariam (Radiallahu Ta’ala
Anha). It is narrated by Hazrat Ibn Abdul Birr (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) that
Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said to Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu
Ta’ala Anha), “My daughter, are you not pleased that you are the leader of the
universe’s women?” She then asked, “My Father, where is Mariam (in terms of
status)?” Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied, “She was the leader
of the women of her time.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Sayyiduna
Abu Ayyub (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) narrates that on the day of Judgement a
caller shall call out, “O people of the congregation! Bow your heads and lower
your gazes until Fatimah, the daughter of Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
passes the bridge of Siraat.” She shall then pass the bridge in the company of
seventy thousand maids from the heavenly virgins like the speed of lightening.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Imaam
Nisaai (Rahmatullah Alaih) narrates that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi

form. She has never menstruated.” [<i>Ash-Sharf-ul-Mu’abbad</i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">Imam
Jalaaluddeen Suyuti (Rahmatullah Alaih) has mentioned that one of the specialities
of Sayyidah Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) is the fact that she never
experienced menstruation. When she would give birth to a child, the postpartum
period (Nifaas) would only last a few minutes and thus she would not miss a
Salaah. This is why she was named ‘Az-Zahra’. [<i>Khasaa’is‑ul-Kubra</i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="background: white; line-height: 15.3pt; margin: 0in 0in 11.25pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">One day
when Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) felt hungry, Rasoolullah
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) placed his blessed hand on her chest. After that
moment, she never felt hunger. Another speciality of Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu
Ta’ala Anha) is the fact that when the time of her demise came, she bathed and
advised that no one should expose her. Hazrat Ali (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh)
therefore buried her without bathing her again. [<i>Barakaate Aale Rasool<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9.0pt;">The demise
of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) from this world was an extremely
traumatizing event in the life of Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha). She
had never been seen laughing after that day. Six months after the demise of
Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), Hazrat Fatimah (Radiallahu Ta’ala
Anha) passed away during the night on Tuesday 3rd Ramadan 11 AH and was buried
in Jannatul Baqi. Her demise was the physical manifestation of the prophecy of
Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) as he had informed her that the first
person to meet him from his family would be her. [<i>Khutbaat-e-Muharram</i>]<o:p></o:p></span></div>

We are living in a world of uncertainty and misconceptions. Man is beginning to question the very roots of his <span style="line-height: 20.1499996185303px;">beliefs for Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim, to create doubt in the minds of the simple and un suspecting Muslims.</span></div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
The incident of Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) sacrificing his son for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala is well-known. Hereunder the focus will be on the character that Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) showed during this trial from Allah Ta’ala.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) made Dua in the Court of Allah Ta’ala, “O My Lord, bestow upon me a righteous son.” [<em>Surah 37, Verse 100</em>] Allah Ta’ala accepted this Dua as He says in the Holy Qur’an, “So We gave him good news of a prudent son.” [<em>Surah 37, Verse 101</em>] A few years later, Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) was born from Hazrat Bibi Hajira (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha).</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
The Arabic adjective “Haleem” (prudent) is not usually applied to children. However, as we shall see, Allah Ta’ala’s use of this adjective to describe Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) indicated that he would not rebel against his father when the divine command came, but would display docility and obedience.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
He was a gentle and learned child and had now reached the age of seven. Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) took him along wherever he travelled, praising the Lord unceasingly and experienced all the joys of fatherhood as he observed his son’s fine character, good behaviour and piety, heard him discussing important questions like a great scholar, and saw that he really was a righteous son and a gentle child with a docile nature.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
When the command came for Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) to sacrifice his son, he put aside his love for his son for the pleasure of Almighty Allah. After seeing the dream for three consecutive nights, on the morning of the 10th of Dhul Hijja, Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) instructed Hazrat Bibi Hajira (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) to wash Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), comb his hair, make him wear new clothes and perfume him. Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) was a handsome sight and there was something quite special about him that day. He talked so nicely with his mother, gladdening her heart.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) took his son by the hand and they set off together to a place called Mina. Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) kept running on in front of his father, hopping and skipping before him as they went. Sometimes he would turn around to ask his father something, and then they proceeded on their way. He was so different today, in such high spirits.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Iblees the accursed could not bear this act of sacrifice for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and tried to convince Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) not to go ahead with it. After being unsuccessful, he went to Hazrat Bibi Hajira (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), but failed with her as well. Lastly, he went to Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), in an attempt to deceive a mere seven year old child and to get him to disobey his father. So he went up to Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) and said, “Do you know where your father is taking you? Have you not noticed that he is carrying a rope and knife? You just go on playing but your father is going to tie you up and slit your throat!” Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) snapped back at him, “Be off with you, you devil! When was a father ever known to cut his own son’s throat? Besides, my father is a Prophet. How could he deliberately cut the throat of his own son, knowing him to be a Prophet also?” Iblees replied, “But he imagines he has been commanded by Allah.” The venerable Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) then said to him, “How can one talk of a Prophet ‘imagining’ that a command has come from Allah? If such a command has come it must be right and true. There is no question of imagining. Therefore, if such a command has reached my father, then I am ready to play my part.” The devil was taken aback on getting such unexpected answers from the young Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), whom he had supposed he could deceive. Unaware of what he was bringing upon himself, he decided to try one last trick, so he said to Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), “Let us suppose the command your father has received is true. Does that mean that you will really offer your neck?” But before he had time to finish, Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) started to get angry with the devil’s impertinence, saying, “If such a command exists, my father is quite capable of carrying it out. Nor am I one to disobey this command. If every atom of me is an Isma’il, let each of them be sacrificed for the sake of my Lord!” He then picked up a stone from the ground, flung it in the eye of the cursed Iblees and blinded him in the right eye (Shaitaan had appeared to all three of them in human form).</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Shaitaan beat a retreat, his eye blinded by the stone. After they had walked a little further, Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) said, “Let’s pause a moment, Isma’il.” Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) stopped and they sat by a large rock. Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) started to talk, explaining why they had come to this desolate place: “O my son, I have dreamt that I am sacrificing you, now look, what is your opinion?” [<em>Surah 37, Verse 102</em>] Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) then responded, “O my father, do as you are commanded, Allah willing, you will find me steadfastly firm.” [<em>Surah 37, Verse 102</em>]</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
When Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) heard these words, he praised Allah Ta’ala. This was indeed the gentle and learned son Allah Ta’ala had granted him in answer to his prayer. It was apparent from all his actions and words, even at a tender age, that he was a Prophet and the son of a Prophet. He said, “My dear and respected father, I have some advice to offer you before you execute this important command. Tie my hands and feet tightly lest in my mortal agony I should hurt you. When you come to sacrifice me, turn my face towards the ground and apply the knife to the back of my neck. It might happen that, if you saw my face, your hand would tremble and you would be unable to wield the knife; in that case you would not behave properly toward your Friend. Tuck up your robe so that my blood does not splatter it; I do not wish the reward I shall receive from Allah Ta’ala to be deficient in any of the virtues. Sharpen your knife well so that when you press it in to cut my throat, I may not feel the pangs of death too keenly. Give my salutation to my mother. Tell her to endure with patience the command of Allah, but do not tell her how you sacrificed me. If you happen to see children of my age, do not weep and do not be sad. If you or my mother were to be sad, or if you should weep, you would cause my soul much grief.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
When Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) heard these moving, innocent, yet heart-rending words of his child, he said to him, “What a helper you have been to me in carrying out the command of Allah.” Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) then said imploringly, “Come my dear father, carry out the command you have been given.” Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) laid his son down and performed two cycles of prayer, thereafter raising his blessed hands in complete reverential supplication.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Referring to this the Holy Qur’an states, “Then they both submitted to Allah’s command and he laid down his son on his forehead.” [<em>Surah 37, Verse 103</em>]</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
He then took the knife and was aiming it at the neck of Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), when the Glorified and Exalted Lord removed the veil of mysteries from all the angels of heaven and earth. When they saw that Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam), for the sake of Allah, had laid his son down for sacrifice and was applying the knife with all his might to the neck of his son, they all prostrated themselves at once. Almighty Allah said, “My angels, did you see? Ibrahim, my special friend, did not shrink from sacrificing his own son in obedience to My command. Did you see My Isma’il? He did not shrink from sacrificing his own life to please Me.” The angels fell in prostration, saying, “Our Lord! Your servant Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) is truly worthy to be Your special friend, while Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) is truly obedient and compliant to Your exalted command, a servant of Yours who accepts Your decree. You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Although Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) pressed the knife to Hazrat Isma’il’s (Alaihis Salaam) throat, the knife did not cut the tender flesh. Amazed at this, he sharpened the knife and tried again. Still it would not cut. Again and again he tried, but to no avail. Far from cutting, he had not made even a mark on Hazrat Isma’il’s (Alaihis Salaam) throat. How could it, when the Noor-e-Muhammadi was present in Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam)?</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Getting angry, he struck the knife against a rock and the rock split into two. More bewildered he said to himself, “Rock it will cut, but not soft flesh. How can this be?” At that very moment, the knife was endowed with speech by Allah Ta’ala and it said, “O special friend of Allah, you want to cut but it is my Lord who enables knives to cut, fire to burn and water to drown, and He tells me not to cut. How can I cut unless I am given permission? I am incapable of cutting so much as one strand of his hair, let alone his throat.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
At that, Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) said, “My dear father, as you were putting the knife to my throat, I mentioned the name of Allah. You should likewise proclaim His supreme greatness, and then strike with the knife.” Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihi Salaam) recited, “<em>Allahu Akbar</em>,” and as he was pressing the knife to Hazrat Isma’il’s (Alaihis Salaam) throat, the sound of <em>“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar” </em>was heard coming from heaven. This was the voice of Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam).</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Summoning Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam), Allah Ta’ala created a ram as a substitute sacrifice for Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam), and commanded Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam) to take it to Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihi Salaam). When Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) heard the voice of Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam) proclaiming the greatness of Allah, he realized his trial was over and in grateful response he glorified Allah Ta’ala in the words, “<em>Laa Ilaaha Illallaahu Wallaahu Akbar</em>.” Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) lay there listening to these utterances and he also realized that the Mercy of the All-Compassionate Lord had come over-flowing and proclaimed, “<em>Allahu Akbar Walillaahil Hamd</em>.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
Regarding this, Allah Ta’ala says in the Glorious Qur’an, “Most certainly, you have fulfilled your dream; thus do We reward the righteous. No doubt, it was a clear test. And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice. And We left a good name for him in all successive generations. Peace be upon Ibrahim. And thus do We reward the righteous. [<em>Surah 37, Verse 105-110</em>]</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">
May Allah Ta’ala grant us the Taufeeq to learn from the obedience and patience of Hazrat Isma’il (Alaihis Salaam) and the steadfastness of Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) in pleasing Almighty Allah, Ameen.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20.3999996185303px; margin-bottom: 15px; text-align: justify;">

powers in order to fulfil his mission in life, which was the propagation of
Truth. Society was at its lowest ebb spiritually and he assigned to himself the
task of reconstruction, renovation, regeneration and reorientation of society
in order to re-establish a new social order based on love, righteousness, truth

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Shaykh was
an outstanding sufi saint of eminence and repute. His preachings and discourses
swayed the masses and the classes. There can be no doubt that the world can

<span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #000099;">HIS MOTHER:</span> His mother's name was Faatima bint Asad, bin Haashim, bin Abd Munaaf. Her Janazah was performed by Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, and he gave his blessed Qamees (Kurta) to be used as her kaffan (shroud). He prepared her grave and first he himself laid down in her grave, so that it will be comfortable for her in the grave, and so that she may be adorned in the Garb of Jannat. <span style="color: #cc0000;">[Noor al-Absaar]</span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #000099;">HIS BIRTH:</span> Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was born on a Friday. Some narrations quote the date as the 13th of Muharram and others state the 13th of Rajab. His birth occurred 30 years after the incident of Feel. He was born inside the Holy Kaa'ba, and none has been blessed with this excellence before him. <span style="color: #cc0000;">[Noor al-Absaar]</span><br /><br />His mother said, “When he was born, he did not drink milk for three days, and this, caused great sadness in my home. This message reached Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam arrived and took Sayyiduna Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu in his blessed arms and showed great love to him. He then placed his tongue in the mouth of Sayyiduna Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and Hadrat Ali suckled on the tongue of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam and thereafter started to drink milk.”<br /><br />When Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was five years old, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam kept him at his blessed home and took care of him. He was thus groomed in the home of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam until he was ten years old.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"></span><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #000099;">HE ACCEPTS ISLAM:</span> Almighty Allah commanded the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam to propagate Islam amongst his family first and to correct their habits and behaviour. This, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam did and he first invited to Islam, Bibi Khadija Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. He also invited Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu who happily accepted Islam. He was the first amongst the youth (children) to accept Islam. <span style="color: #cc0000;">[Ikmaal fi Asmaa ar-Rijaal]</span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #cc0000;"></span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #cc0000;"><span style="color: black;">Hadrat Ibn Abbas Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu reports that once Hadrat Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu were very ill. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, Hadrat Abu Bakr and Hadrat Umar (radi Allahu anhum) came to visit the children. On leaving the Sahaba-e-Kiraam requested that Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu take some Nazr (vow) on behalf of the children. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and their female servant all took the vow to keep three fasts each, so that Almighty Allah may bless both the children with shifa. All three of them kept the first fast, but there was nothing in the house for Iftaar. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu then bought three portions of flour on credit from a jew called Sham'oon. He gave one portion to Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, who made five breads with the flour. As the time of Iftaar arrived, and they were about to eat, a beggar came to their door and said, “Salaam upon you O Ahle Bait of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. I am a poor Muslim from amongst the poor Muslims. Please feed me with something and Allah shall feed you from the bounties of Jannat.” When they heard this, all of them gave their bread to him, and they slept just by drinking water. The next day, they sat for Iftaar when they heard someone say, “I am an Orphan. Please assist me.” Again, all of them gave their share of food to him. This happened on the third day again, when a captive asked for food, they gave all their food to him. When morning came, Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu took Imam Hassan and Hussain (Radi Allahu Anhum) to visit the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. When he saw how weak the children were, he went to Bibi Faatima Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and saw that she too had become weak. This caused much sadness to the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam. It was then, that Hadrat Jibraeel Alaihis Salam descended with this verse of the Quran, “And they feed the poor, orphan and captive in His love.” </span><span style="color: #cc0000;">[Masaalik as-Saalikeen, Vol 1, Page 145]</span></span></span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: #cc0000;"><span style="color: #cc0000;"><span style="color: #000099;">INCIDENTS RELATING TO HIS SHAHAADAT:</span><span style="color: black;"> The shahaadat of Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was a very painful event in the history of Islam. Three Kharijies, Abdur Rahmaan bin Muljim, Bark bin Abdullah Tameemi and Amr bin Bukair Tameemi, planned to martyr Hadrat Ali, Hadrat Ameer Muawiyah and Hadrat Amr ibn al-A’as (Ridwaanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajmaeen) on the same day. These traitors planned to attack these Sahaba Kiraam Ridwaanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajmaeen) on the 17th of Ramadaan 40 Hijri. Bark went to Syria and attacked Hadrat Ameer Muawiyah Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu who was only injured and was not martyred. Bark was captured. His hands and feet were cut off, and he was set free. Amr bin Bakeer went to Egypt to martyr Hadrat Amr ibn al-'Aas Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. On that day, Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was ill and he appointed Sahl Aamiri or Khaarija to perform the Namaaz. Thinking that he was Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu, Ibn Bukair attacked and killed him. He was captured and taken to Hadrat Amr Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and was killed. Early that morning Hadrat Ali awoke and told Hadrat Imam Hussain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu that he had seen the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam in his dream. He said, “I told the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam that I had attained no comfort from his Ummah. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said that I should curse the tyrants, and I made this dua, ‘O Allah! Take me away from these people and put me amongst better people and put such a person in my place who will be very bad for them.”<br /><br />Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu was still talking to Hadrat Imam Hasan Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu when the Muazzin announced the time for Salaah. Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu walked towards the Masjid for Salaah and as he entered the Masjid, Ibn Muljim the cursed came from behind a pillar and struck Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu on his blessed face, with a sword that was dipped in poison. The people in the Masjid arrested him and brought him before Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu. He said, “Imprison him, but make a soft bed for him and give him good food. If I survive, then I have the right to forgive him or avenge what he has done and if I pass away, then kill him also.”<br /><br />Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu passed away on the 21st of Ramadan from the severe injury caused by the attack on him. He passed away at the age of 63.<br /></span><span style="color: #000099;">HIS FINAL ADVICE:</span><span style="color: black;"> Before his wisaal, he called Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain (Radi Allahu Anhum) and said, “I advice you to remain pious and do not wish for the world even if it wishes for you. And if you lose any worldly belonging, then do not cry over it. Have mercy on the orphans, and help the weak.” He then turned to one of his sons, Hadrat Muhammad bin Hanafiyah Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu and gave him the same advice. He then read the Kalima and his soul travelled from this mundane world in to the heights of the hereafter. Inna Lillaahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raaji'oon!!</span></span></span></span></span><br />

<br />It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) among the great months of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is the month of Rajab and that is the month of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). The one who respects and reveres Rajab verily reveres the commands of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) and Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will enter the person into Jannah who reveres His command and will grant him His pleasure.<br />Sha’abaan is My month. Whoever reveres Sha’abaan verily reveres My command and whoever respects My command, on the day of the Qiyamah, I will be the his helper and a source of good for him.<br />Ramadhan is the month of My Ummah. Whoever respects Ramadhan and maintains its sanctity and does not violate it and fasts in its days and stands up in worship in its nights and saves his organs, that person will come out of Ramadhan in such a state that there will no sin on him for which Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will call him to account.<br />(Baihaqi, Shu’abul Iman, Hadith No: 3652, Kanz Ul ‘Ummal, Hadith No: 35216)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hadith related from the Companion Abdullah b.'Amr (May Allaah be pleased with him) which says that the Prophet(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: "Allah looks at His creation during the night of the </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
15th of Sha'ban and He forgives His servants except two- one intent on hatred (mushanin) and a murderer (qatilu nafs). ( Ref : Musnad Ahmad 2/176 #6642. Al-Bazzar also related this Hadith and he classified it as 'hasan'. )</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Imam Suyuti (Rh)says in his Haqiqat al-sunna wa al-bid`a:“As for the night of mid-Sha`ban, it has great merit and it is desirable (mustahabb) to spend part of it in supererogatory worship.” ( Ref: Suyuti, Haqiqat al-sunna wa al-bid`a aw al-amr bi al-ittiba` wa al-nahi `an al-ibtida` (1405/1985 ed.) p. 58. He adds: "However, this must be done alone, not in congregation.")</div>

<span style="color: #cc0000;">Five letters of the word Sha’abaan and what they mean</span></h3>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />The leader of all saints, Hadhrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (May Allah sanctify his soul) says<br />about the secret meanings hidden in the word “Sha’abaan”:<br />There are five letters in the word “Sha’abaan” (i.e. in the Arabic word):<br />The Arabic “Sheen,” which stands “Sharaf” i.e. honor.<br />“’Ain,” which stands for “’Ulu” i.e. elevation.<br />“Ba” which stands for “birr” i.e. virtuousness.<br />“Alif” which stands for “Ulfat” i.e. love<br />“Noon” which stands for “Noor” i.e. radiance, light.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />These letters indicate that in the month of Sha’abaan, the worshippers of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) are granted these bounties by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hadhrat Ghouse Azam Dastagir (May Allah be well pleased with him) points out the temporary nature of this world and the changing of times and says about the importance of the month of Sha’abaan in these words:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Life has 3 states: </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The past state, the present state and the future state.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the same way, there are 3 months: Rajab, which has passed and will not return and </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ramadhan, which we are waiting for. We do not know whether we will be alive to get it </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
or not and Sha’abaan is the link between these 2 months. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We should consider obedience to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as a respipte (Ghaneemat)<br />(Ghuniya Lit talibi tariqil haqqi, Vol. 1, Pg No: 188)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #990000;">Sha’abaan is the month of Durud:</span></h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb5s_wCmAek62uUsmJtR_iFmg_p6dFdK4xHZjcJZz9xz503GevKFEAc7Vg23iqHfSfuIpmZxJcwZJv3Gyf_c-62oSMOSbFbxX9lcmWBTtBwoFmJyQMYMsT69PHa8XIQHOilpI2R10Wnhg/s1600/DuroodShareef.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb5s_wCmAek62uUsmJtR_iFmg_p6dFdK4xHZjcJZz9xz503GevKFEAc7Vg23iqHfSfuIpmZxJcwZJv3Gyf_c-62oSMOSbFbxX9lcmWBTtBwoFmJyQMYMsT69PHa8XIQHOilpI2R10Wnhg/s320/DuroodShareef.jpg" width="230" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />The verse of Durud was revealed in this month and the command for Durud was given to us, so for this reason we are asked to send a lot of Durud on the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in this month. As given in Ghuniya Lit talibi tariqil haqqi, Vol. 1, Pg No:188:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would fast for the whole of Sha’abaan. When I asked Him, He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) writes (the names of) all those who would die in this year in this night. I desire that My time of passing away should be when I am fasting. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: This is that month between Rajab and Ramadhan, which people do not think about and this is the month in which deeds (a’amaal) are presented before Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), so I want that I should be fasting and My deeds should be presented before Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).(Sunan Nasai, Vol. 1, Pg No: 321. Hadith No: 2317, Musnad Imam Ahmed, Musnad UlAnsaar, Hadith No: 20758)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has stated in the Hadith, “Awwalu ma Khalaq Allahu Noori,” i.e. the first thing Allah created was my Noor. [<em>Madaarijun Nubuwwah, Vol 2</em>]<br />
<br />
It is stated in the Holy Qur’an, “No one is associated to Him, so I have been commanded and I am the first Muslim.” [<em>Surah 6, Verse 163</em>] The Sahaabah asked Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to explain the phrase “I am the first Muslim” in this verse, as Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam) and the other Prophets up to Hazrat Isa (Alaihis Salaam) were born on earth before him, and all these Prophets were Muslims i.e. they surrendered to the will of Allah, so how could Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) be the first Muslim? It was then that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) explained that Allah Ta’ala had created him as Noor-e-Muhammadi out of Himself many thousands of astronomical years before Allah Ta’ala decided to create the universe. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has also stated, “I am the first Prophet to be created and the last one to be sent.”<br />
<br />
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) has narrated: “The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) once asked Hazrat Jibraeel (Alaihis Salaam): “How old are you?” Hazrat Jibra’eel (Alaihis Salaam) replied, “I don’t have much recollection about the exact age. However, I do remember seeing a star in the fourth Hijab (veil) of Honour. That star would appear once every seventy thousand years, and I have seen the star seventy two thousand times.” Upon hearing this, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “I swear by the Honour of my Allah Jalla Jalaaluhu that star was me.” [<em>Tarikh-ul-Kabir; Tafseer Roohul Bayan</em>]<br />
<br />
Allah Ta’ala could very well have created the universe by ordering “Be!” [<em>Surah 3, Verse 59</em>], but to honour His beloved Noor-e-Muhammadi, He decided to create the entire universe through this medium and bless everything thus created for the sake of His beloved. In a Hadith-e-Qudsi Allah Ta’ala has stated, “If I had not created you (O Muhammad), I would not have created anything.” Accordingly, Allah Ta’ala started devising out of Noor-e-Muhammadi each and every one of the angels, the countless galaxies throughout the universe and all that is therein. Thus He honoured His beloved. Nothing that was created by Allah Ta’ala was out of anything else.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wo Jo Na The Tho Kuch Na Tha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wo Jo Na Ho Tho Kuch Na Ho</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Jaan He Wo Jahan Ki</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Jaan He Tho Jahan He</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When he (Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) did not exist then nothing existed</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If he was not created then nothing would have been created</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is the life of the world</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is alive therefore the world exists</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) reports: I asked, “Ya Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) may my father and mother be sacrificed upon thee! Tell me, what was that which the Almighty Allah created before anything else?” The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“O Jabir, verily Allah first created my Noor (Light) from His Noor before He created anything else. This Noor stayed in obedience according to the Will of Allah. At that time, there was neither the Lawh (Divine Tablet) nor the Qalam (Pen), neither heaven nor hell, and neither any angel, earth, skies, sun, moon, jinn or human beings. When Allah wished to create something, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Qalam (Pen), from the second, the Lawh (Divine Tablet) and from the third, He made the Arsh (Throne).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From the first He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second the Kursi (Divine Chair), and from the third, He created the rest of the Angels.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From the first He created the skies, from the second He created the planets and from the third He created heaven and hell.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From the first part He created the Noor with which the believer (Mu’min) sees. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Ma’rifat (spiritual realisation). From the third, He created a Noor in the tongues of the Believers to recite the Kalima-e-Shahaadat, Laa Ilaaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. (And from the fourth part everything else was created).” [<em>Dalaa'il-un-Nubuwwah; Muwaahibul Laduniya; Ibne Majah</em>]</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since all created beings and objects have come out of the same single source, it is but natural that all creation can reach their goal only through this source i.e. Noor-e-Muhammadi. Therefore Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), who is the most sublime and exalted of all that has been created, is the medium through which every person would reach his Creator.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Imam Fakhruddin Raazi (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) writes in Tafseer-e-Kabeer that when Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam) was created, the angels were ordered to prostrate to him for the reason that the Noor-e-Muhammadi was in Hazrat Adam’s (Alaihis Salaam) forehead. Iblees could not see the light and boasted why he should prostrate to a human. As a result of this he became shaitaan, the accursed. The angels saw the light and they all prostrated.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is supreme with regard to dignity and rank amongst all creation. He is the Noor which guides the entire creation to Almighty Allah. It is clearly evident how unique the position of our Beloved Aaqa Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), the Mahboob of the Almighty Creator is, in whose honour the entire universe has been created. His reality is thus known only to his Creator, Almighty Allah.</div>
